I am currently studying A Level Biology, Computer Science, and Psychology, and I am predicted grades AAB. I achieved 10 GCSEs at grades 7-4, alongside a Level 2 Pass in BTEC Business. I have a strong interest in bioinformatics and enjoy the way my subjects connect science, technology, and human behaviour. Biology interests me because of how detailed and interconnected living systems are, Computer Science has strengthened my logical thinking and problem-solving skills, and Psychology has helped me better understand behaviour, memory, and learning. Alongside my studies, I have experience working as a youth leader and mentor for a company called Reaching Higher, where I supported younger students, helped guide activities, and worked closely with people of different ages and confidence levels. This experience helped me develop patience, communication, and leadership skills, while also teaching me how important it is to adapt explanations to suit different learners. My passion for the intersection of healthcare and technology has also given me to attend the Microsoft experience centre where I was able to attend key notes by the likes of Darren Hardman. I was also able to meet Rishi Sunak and discuss with him how AI can be implemented in education. Highlights of which can be found on LinkedIn. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and focused on building confidence. I assimilate the knowledge I learn in psychology to aid learning. For example; I try to explain difficult topics in a simple and relatable way by breaking them down step by step, making lessons feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Since I am still actively studying these subjects myself, I understand the pressure students can face and aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.
