About Me I am a recent A-Level student heading to Queen Mary University of London this September to study Economics. At GCSE I achieved strong results in Maths (Grade 8), English Literature (Grade 6) and Combined Science (Grade 6), before going on to be predicted an A in A-Level Maths, an A in A-Level Economics, and a Distinction in CTEC Business — the equivalent of a Grade A. Why I Tutor Having just completed these qualifications myself, I understand the very real pressure and frustration that comes with exam season. I remember the stress of sitting with a difficult question and the weight of wanting to perform well for yourself and the people around you. This is what drives me to tutor. I want to provide the kind of calm, patient, and supportive guidance that helps students build genuine confidence while making even the most challenging topics feel approachable and far less overwhelming than they might first appear. My Approach My tutoring style is encouraging, structured, and highly exam-focused. I help students understand mark schemes, structure answers effectively, and build reliable techniques for maximising marks under pressure. I also place great importance on helping students manage their workload sensibly, breaking revision down into focused, achievable goals rather than last-minute cramming. Because I have completed these courses so recently, everything I offer — the content, the exam technique, and the revision strategies — is current, relevant, and personally tested. Subjects & Experience I offer tuition in GCSE and A-Level Maths and GCSE and A-Level Economics. Outside of education, I completed work experience with the EY Foundation and AAT through Springpod, gaining real insight into professional and financial environments. I also apply the 80/20 principle to my tutoring — helping students identify the small number of topics and techniques that generate the majority of their marks, so every session is focused and effective.
